Clinical Nutrition is the area of nutrition in which the various diseases that affect human beings are treated through food.
Assessment of nutritional status at an individual level;
Carrying out food anamnesis;
Provision of individual nutritional assistance, elaborating the nutritional diagnosis, based on clinical, biochemical, anthropometric and food data;
Nutritional prescription, based on diagnosis and health status, adapting it to the evolution of the individual's nutritional status;
Prescribing, planning, analyzing, supervising and evaluating therapeutic food plans;
Prescription of artificial enteral and parenteral nutrition and adapted staple foods used for special purposes.
